• I hadn't donated blood for awhile and for some reason, I think the hungry, extremely aggressive mosquitos waiting outside the door this morning knew it. There were five successful draws made on me as I walked out to my car to go to work! Remind me again how vital and important mosquitos are, I keep forgetting!
• Gina, Corey, Isaac and Emilie Vinz arrived in Claremont Thursday June 27th. Gina spent some time on friday with Sydney Flipse taking her senior pictures. On Saturday Gina and Corey went back to Sioux Falls but the kids stayed with Grandma Carol and Grandpa Barney Hanse. They met up with Jim and Jolinda Finley and the kids went to stay with them until Wednesday when they head back to Sioux Falls with grandma and grandpa.
• Lyle and Joan Cutler entertained friends Saturday evening beginning at their home. Those in attendance for the supper meal were Dr Bob and Carolyn Snyder of Groton and Don and Marilyn Schornack of Enemy Swim Lake. After the meal and a nice visit they wrapped up the evening watching the beautiful fireworks display at
