Long ways to the top

• It seems a very long ways to the top of the Groton Water Tower, and it is, but there are times when maintenance needs to be done. Paul Kosel made his journey to the peak of the water tower on Tuesday to change the bulbs at the very peak that have the red globes. The three show lights around the tower were also changed out so they should be good until next year.
• While at the peak, Kosel is wearing a harness which he is strapped off on the railing. He is also wearing a headset where he was able to commu

nicate with Ward Gilchrist on the ground. The bluetooth headset allowed Kosel to keep his hands free while working on the lights. (Photo by Ward Gilchrist)
