• For the first time in 22 years weather effected play during the Groton Chamber of Commerce Best Ball Golf Tournament on Friday. Thunder storms and high winds stopped play for a while and limited the players to only nine holes instead of the usual 18.
• Due to the break in play and the later playing time, three teams had to withdraw from the 16 teams that started the

tournament.
• Winning the Championship Flight with a score of 29 was the team from Dacotah Bank. Team members were: Julie Hinds, Brad Hanson, Jon Smith, Brenda Waage, Ryan Fjeldheim and Brad Waage. In second place on the Championship Flight was Team Patterson with a score of 30. Team members were: Drake Patterson, Jacquelyn Rabenberg, Brandon Spanier, Melissa Raap, Austin Heib and Tyler Zahn.
