• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Soldiers with the South Dakota National Guard are preparing to be deployed to Afghanistan next month.
• About 70 members of guard's 152nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion will spend nine months overseas providing support in areas like transportation, supply and maintenance support.
