Lazy Farmers 4-H May Meeting

• The June meeting of the Lazy Farmers was held on May 24, 2013 at James Cemetery.
• Maryn Howard called the meeting to order. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Maryn Howard and the 4-H pledge was led by Ellie Harms. 11 members answered roll call "what size of t-shirt?" . No new members or guests were present. The April Secretaries minutes were read by Ellie Harms and a motion was made by Mark Leonhardt  to approve amended minutes and 2nd by Tessa Erdman. The Treasurer's report was read by Sandy Osterman and a motion was made by Brooklyn and 2nd by Jameson Stange to approve.
• Old business included helping clean at cemetery.
• New business included mowing schedule, project registration enrollment, and livestock affidavits due May 31st. Also we talk about State Fair projects can be packed in totes that Sunday at the fair and people will bring it to the State Fair for you. We drew from six names of the members who were in the age group of 11-13 to pick who would paint the painted pony project that will be in open class. Tanea Lipp will have the honor of painting the painted pony. The topic of no 4-H week camp was brought up; it was turned into a day camp. June 7th Tessa Erdman will donate 2 dozen cookies to the 4-H office. Makayla Jones made a motion and opened the floor for discussion to put a bench and rocks at the cemetery, if approved by the church. The club voted on it and motion passed. Stacey Jones to get estimates.
• Next meeting will be July 8 at the James Cemetery at 7:30 to place rock and bench.  A potluck meeting will be held later in July at the Jones's farm to cleanup and paint livestock pen signs and provide demonstration and explanation of fair preparation for projects. 
• Tessa made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Sarah 2nd.
• There were no demonstrations or talks.
• Lunch was served by the Jones' and Ostermans.
