The Life of Arvon Taylor

Celebration of Life Services for Arvon Taylor, 70, of Conde will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13 at the United Methodist Church, Conde. The Rev. Matt Richards will officiate. 
• Open visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Family members are requested to meet at the church at 4:00 p.m.
• Arvon died at his home on June 9, 2013 surrounded by his daughters, Michelle, Tomelyn, Kris, his brother, Aaron and sister, Mary,  fulfilling his de

sire to pass away on the farm that was so near and dear to his heart.   
• Arvon was born on July 1, 1942 in Conde to Robert and Eldwin (Chaon) Taylor.  He attended school in Conde graduating in 1960.  During his school years his friendship with Barry Imsland led to his passion of hunting and fishing which he enjoyed with his grandchildren and friends up until the last days of his life.   On May 27, 1961, he was united in marriage with Diane Wheeler at Raymond, South Dakota.  The couple made their home near Conde and raised three daughters of whom he was very proud.
