• In other business, the board adopted a resolution authorizing membership in the SD High School Athletic Association for the 2013-2014 school year. The also approved the addition of SDRS Roth 457 program as part of the employees' elective benefits package, and the ASBSD protective trust agreement for South Dakota School Benefits Employee Health Insurance.
• It was noted that the school districts buses had their annual inspection on June 3, all but one of the buses passed the inspection.
• Stacy Mayou successfully submitted the highest bid for the 1993 Ford Tauras. The bid was for $417.
• The board moved into executive session to discuss personnel and staffing issues.

• Memorial Services for Arvon Taylor, 70, of Conde will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13 at the United Methodist Church, Conde.  The Rev. Matt Richards will officiate. 
• Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
• Arvon died at his home on June 9, 2013.
