• As the Groton School District fiscal year draws to a close, the Groton School Board approved several contracts gearing up for the 2013-2014 school year during Monday night's school board meeting.
• An employment agreement with Shaun Wanner to teach Driver's Education this summer was approved with the same terms and conditions as in past years.
• Katie Fadness, Ann Gibbs, Julie Milbrandt, Deb Winburn and Anne Zoellner were hired for the summer Extended School Year (ESY) program at $15 per hour.
• The employment agreement with Carla Kjelden for the summer Librarian at $10 per hour was approved.
• Also approved was the hiring of Anna Schwan as the Middle School/High School principal for the 2013-2013 school year. The Elementary principal and the business manager contracts were also approved with salaries to be published in July.
• Administrative Negotiated Agreements for 2013-2014 were approved as was the signed auxiliary administrative work agreements for custodial supervisor, transportation director, school nurse, assistant business manager, and head cook, with salaries to be published in July. Auxiliary staff work agreements were also approved with salaries to be published in July.
• Cara Dennert was re-assigned as the MS/HS computer technology teacher for 2013-2014 and her current contract was amended to include 5 days at employee's base rate for 2013-2014 only, with salary to be published in July.
