List of suspected gunman's weapons, ammunition and gear found by Santa Monica police

• LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Police in Santa Monica, Calif., said that a suspected gunman carried the following weapons, ammunition and equipment during Friday's rampage that left four people dead and several others wounded. The items were found at several crime scenes and many were displayed at a news conference on Saturday.
• -- AR-15 assault-style rifle.
• -- Spare upper receiver for an assault-style rifle.
• -- .44 revolver.
• -- Duffel bag with magazines that had about 1,300 rounds of ammunition.

Death toll from clashes between militia and protesters in Libya rises to 27

• TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) -- A health official says the death toll from clashes between protesters and former rebels aligned with the military in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi has risen to 27.
• The violence broke out Saturday after protesters stormed a base belonging to Libya Shield, a grouping of pro-government militias tasked with maintaining security. The protesters were demanding that militias leave their camp and submit to the full authority of Libya's security forces. Officials originally reported seven dead.
• Mohamed Belied, who is director at the city's al-Jala hospital, said early Sunday that the deaths were caused by gunshots and explosive fragments. He said dozens were wounded, without saying how many casualties were protesters and how many militiamen.

Equipment operator in Philly building collapse surrenders to face charges in deaths of 6

• PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- A heavy equipment operator who is accused of being high on marijuana when a downtown building collapsed onto a thrift store, killing six people, is in custody after surrendering to face charges in the deaths, police said.
• Sean Benschop, who has a lengthy police record, surrendered Saturday and faces six counts of involuntary manslaughter, 13 counts of recklessly endangering
