Teeners split with Aberdeen B

Groton's Teeners split a pair of games with the Aberdeen B squad last night. Groton lost the first game, 4-1. Alec Voss had two hits while Jackson Doeden, Spencer Knecht and Rayce Harder each had one. Luke Sternhagen was the pitcher and Nick Dalchow the catcher.
• Groton came back to win the second game, 14-13, on a game winning hit by Isaiah Cutler in the bottom of the eighth inning to score Brady Keith, who was walked. Cutler, Sternhagen and Voss each had three hits, Keith and Adam each had two hits and Spencer Knecht and Dalchow each had one hit. Adam was the pitcher and Cutler was the catcher.
• The Teeners are now 4-4 on the season.

Junior Teeners beat Ellendale

• The junior teeners defeated Ellendale, 20-3. Bennett Shabazz had three hits, Anthony Sippel and Sean Schuring each had two and Marshall Lone, Truitt Rogers, Brandyn Anderson and Jackson Oliver each had one. Aaron Severson was the pitcher with seven strikeouts in the first five innings. Lane pitched the last four innings with seven more strike-outs.
