• Take a breakfast cruise to Mount Vernon to explore life in the late 1700s and take part in a "Star Spangled Celebration"
• Develop leadership skills and self-confidence learning alongside some of the world's most motivated students
• View a spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display with fantastic views of the National Mall
• Give back through a hands-on service project, and earn up to 10 service-learning hours
The seven-day tour is as follows:

DAY 1
WELCOME LEADERSHIP AMBASSADORS!
• Proceed through registration and join your fellow Leadership Ambassadors for welcome activities while your family attends orientation.
• Find out more about the
history of People to People Ambassador Programs, and meet the teachers and staff who will be guiding you through the program.
• Get to know your group members, and learn more about the week's upcoming activities.

DAY 2 EXPLORE WASHINGTON, D.C.
• Explore the
Constitution Gardens: a memorial to the 56 signatories of the Declaration of Independence.
