plans are in the works to move to 4G over the next year.
• "With 4G speeds will increase to 20 times faster," Groft said. "With the new technology, new devices will be needed for the 4G. We plan on upgrading customers phones as needed."
• The increase in speed to the cell phones also means an increase in speed to the internet. The increase in speed will allow internet service to reach some of the farms and out of town households currently not able to receive service.
• The increase in speed also means better service to current internet users.
• "Today, 50 percent of internet usage is for video streaming," Groft said. "No longer is internet just for checking email. With the popularity of companies like Netflix, people are using the internet to watch videos."
