serve a three year term on the board.
• James Groft, CEO of James Valley Telephone, presented Hanson with a clock plaque commemorating Hanson's many years of service to the board and the company. Hanson received a standing ovation from the audience. During the presentation, Hanson commented on the many changes the company has seen in the last 57 years.
• "When I started on the board," Hanson said. "There were only nine employees, three of which are still with the company."
• Today the company employs a large work force and has expanded the business to not only a large telephone coverage area, but also cable TV and cell phone services.
