• Two hundred and thirty-two customers were registered at the 57th Annual James Valley Cooperative Telephone meeting on Thursday at the Groton High School Arena. The cooperative had a very productive year and promised several good things for the year to come during the meeting.
• James Valley Telephone Board of Directors President Roger Zastrow called the meeting to order and conducted the meeting. Groton American Legion Post #39 posted the Colors and Aubray Harry sang the National Anthem. The invocation was given by Pastor Nancy Manning.
