Low pressure over South Dakota this morning will slowly move east into Minnesota by Saturday morning. Showers will accompany this system today, with more widespread light to moderate rainfall spreading from west to east across the region overnight. Winds will also increase from the west to northwest throughout the day, beginning over western and central South Dakota this morning, then spreading east into eastern portions of the forecast area this evening.
