A low pressure system will begin to occlude over the region today into Friday morning. Chances for showers and thunderstorms exist once again today, mainly during the afternoon hours. Small hail and gusty winds are possible with any stronger cells that manage to develop, but overall the severe threat today is low. As the low moves east Friday night into Saturday, rainfall will move from west to east across the area with much cooler temperatures arriving on Saturday. Breezy and gusty winds will also spread east across the area Friday afternoon through Saturday.
