Lee Schinkel spent the Memorial weekend at the Carter Schinkel home in St. Cloud, Minn.

Kiwanis Club

•  Tom Paepke was program leader for the Groton Kiwanis Club last week.  He introduced Stan and Kathy Knudsen, who gave a travelogue on their trip to Argentina.
•  Tom is also vice president of the club, and led a discussion on the club's 60th anniversary, on June 27th.
• Bev Sombke was substitute chef for the day.

Wash on Monday, Iron on Tuesday exhibit

The Museum of Wildlife, Science and Industry located on Hwy 12 in Webster is pleased to announce a special exhibit "Wash on Monday, Iron on Tuesday." The exhibit will run from June 1 through July 15 in the Washnok Building located on the museum grounds. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 to 5, and Sundays 1 to 5.
