• It is good to be home once again. We pulled into Groton at about 10:45 last night. It didn't take long for everyone to get their luggage and to head for home. I think everyone was glad to be back in their own beds. I tried to fix my internet service at the house, but I could not get it to work. I thought perhaps my router was broken, but it appears to be working okay. I think the internet modem is not working correctly. Good thing I have my cellphone with a hot spot so I'm still doing the paper on the laptop with the help of the internet off my

phone. But I have to get it going in the house somehow as our weather station has been offline since the power outage on Thursday.
• This morning as I started my paper route, my first stop is at Martha Farmen's house. Their lights were on and when I opened the door to put the paper on the chair, Martha saw me and stopped me. She told me that overnight, Calvin Farmen had died. Judy Schaunaman was also there and was with Calvin up until his death. Then Martha brought up an interesting point--Judy's husband, Martha's husband (Clayton) and Calvin all died on Memorial Day.  What an interesting but of information.
• Tom Mahan saw me this morning while I was doing the routes and asked about the rubble site gate. Apparently it had not been working properly. I told him I would check it out after I was done delivering papers. So afterwards, I grabbed the laptop
