Totals From This Weekends Thunderstorm Activity & This Weeks Persistent Rain

Bouts of thunderstorm activity over the weekend and a near constant rain for the first half of the work week are all the result of one slow moving weather system that pushed out of the Rockies into the Central Plains over the weekend, and is finally now departing the Dakotas.  Thanks to the slow motion of this system, much of the area received some major drought relief. Below is a list of rainfall reports from the National Weather Service Coop and Community Collaborative Rain Hail and Snow (CoCoRaHS) networks. Please note that not all rain amounts have been tallied, as light rain continues to fall over the area.
