Groton Area School District has qualified three Lady Tiger Golfers for the state golf meet, which will be held  at Pine Hills Golf Course in Milbank on May 20th and 21st.  Junior Nikki Koehler and sophomores Rachel Blackmun and Kasey Waage will compete against 98 other golfers from 32 school districts from around the state.  "Our goal was to qualify our entire team for the state tournament," said Coach Greg Kjellsen. "We came up three strokes short of that this year.  Having three girls qualify is quite an accomplishment with such a young team.  It is the most we've had qualify since 2006."
