• Daniel Leonhardt, 62, Powell, Wyo., formerly of Groton, died May 2, 2013, at his home.
• His funeral was held May 6 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Powell, with Kurt McNabb officiating.
• Daniel "Danny" Leonhardt was born Nov. 30, 1950, in Aberdeen to George and Delores (Shannon) Leonhardt. He attended school in Groton.
• He was a ranch hand in Buffalo, Wyo., and Powell for 40 years.
• He enjoyed guiding hunters in the mountains, and his animals.
• Survivors include his mother of Groton, son Dylan Deaver,

Buffalo; stepson David and Kilie Bugher, Powell; daughters Karla and Andy Smith, Gillette, Wyo.; Amy, Katie and Addie Leonhardt; step-daughters Amanad and Anna Bugher, Fort Bragg, Calif.; sister Eretta Dargatz, Waubay; and 10 grand children.
• He was preceded in death by his father, infant son, Charles, grandparents and three uncles.
