One way that people can continue to preserve the memories of our servicemen and women is through the Veterans History Project through the Library of Congress. Interviewing your friends and family can be a great way to learn more about their experience and contributions during their time serving our country. Erickson to receive Road to Success Scholarship

• Hewitt Insurance Agency, Inc. of Langford and Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company of Grinnell, Iowa, have named Langford Area High School senior Kristen Erickson of Langford as a recipient of a 2013 Road to Success Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
• "We're happy to recognize Kristen for her academic accomplishments and safe driving record through a Road to Success Scholarship. We wish her the best in future endeavors," said Craig Hewitt of Hewitt Insurance Agency.
• Erickson was selected from thousands of Grinnell Mutual policyholders based on excellence in the high school classroom and a safe driving record. Erickson's parents are Joel and Karen Erickson.
