Groton Kiwanis Club

• Sixteen members and seven guests attended last Wednesday's weekly Kiwanis meeting, at the community center.  Dodie Martin is the club's cook.
• Suzy Oliver was the program leader, however, she had other duties at GHS that day, so president Dan Dalchow introduced Clint Feljstad, DI team coach, and his six elementary students .  The DI team presented their skit, which which they won at the region and state levels.  Tom Mahan is next week's program leader, followed by Tom Paepke.
• The business session included a discussion on the Groton club's 60th anniversary.

Groton News

The Aberdeen area men's chorus presented their annual spring concert at the Aberdeen Presbyterian Church, last Sunday afternoon.  Lee Schinkel is a member of that chorus.
 
Lions Club Training
Groton Lions Club held a training session at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church recently.  Zone and state officers presented the training.  Those attending were Pastor Elizabeth Johnson, Kathy Sundermeyer, Lee Schinkel, Larry Wheeting, and Dave Pigors.
