GHS Presents Spring Music Concert

• Music was in the air Monday night as the Groton High School held their annual spring concert and art show.
• There were several highlights during the concert. The Chamber Choir dedicated their song to the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School. They sang "Prayer of the Children." Kelsey Wieseler received a standing ovation following her solo performance of "Flight of the Bumble Bee."
• Along with the music, several awards were also handed out during the concert. 
• The Choral Directors' Awards are given to choir students who have shown dedication to the choral program through their musicianship, leadership, commitment and positive attitude. Receiving the award from director Malerie Yeaton were Allen Baker, Laura Garcia, Kari Hanson, Amy Hockhalter, Tyler Holm, Matt Knecht, Kiana Kokales, Lincoln Lane, Ashley Larson,
