A potent upper level disturbance will quickly move across the region today. This will result in scattered showers of various forms of precipitation. Snow is expected in the morning, becoming a mix of snow and rain, or turning completely to rain in the afternoon. An isolated thunderstorm is also possible for parts of central South Dakota. Strong and gusty northwest winds will also develop.
