• The South Dakota Army National Guard ceremony is being held at 11 a.m. at the Holiday Inn City Center in Sioux Falls. The unit just completed a nine-month deployment to Kuwait and Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
• The members of the 927th arrived in the U.S. on April 15 and spent about a week at Fort Bliss, Texas, completing de-mobilization requirements before returning to South Dakota.
• Lt. Gov. Matt Michels and Maj. Gen. Tim Reisch, the guard's adjutant general, will speak at the event. The public is encouraged to attend.

• SISSETON, S.D. (AP) -- Authorities are seeking the public's help as they investigate a fatal hit-and-run north of Sisseton earlier this month.
• Officials say 27-year-old Adrian Fourstar III was found dead on state Highway 127 about 2 ½ miles north of Sisseton in the early morning hours of April 9. Investigators say it appears he was struck by a vehicle. His body was found by a bus driver.
• Fourstar was from Montana and had recently begun working in the Sisseton area.

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Attorneys representing a Pierre teenager accused of killing another teen will not be allowed to interview a key witness in the case, a judge has decided.
• Braiden McCahren, 16, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault in the shooting death last Dec. 18 of classmate Dalton Williams, 16.
• McCahren is accused of shooting Williams with a shotgun after first pointing the
