• We can complain about the weather, dread facing the next forecast, drag our feet when we have to change our plans again or we can just make our minds up to simply enjoy each day as it comes and maybe even laugh about this crazy April that continues to do it's best to convince us that winter is not quite over.  I post regularly on facebook. I do my best each and every day to type something that might make someone smile in that little box that continually asks me what's on my mind.  My post a few days ago read, "Don't let this weather depress you, just think how much we're going to enjoy summer this coming November!!!
• Yvonne Gibbs attended a reception in Aberdeen Saturday evening, April 13th honoring Maria Grace Barnett.  She received her 1st Holy Communion on Sunday morning at Sacred  Heart Catholic Church.
• I spent the weekend in Bismarck.  Due to the intense winter storm that dumped a record 18.5 inches of snow in a 24 hour period, Don and I made some fun things to eat, watched a lot of movies and played a lot of cards.  I returned home on Monday evening and was very thankful the roads were in as good of shape as they were.  It has stormed five out of six weekends I've spent in Bismarck and the number of people telling me I can no longer go there is growing daily.
• It's time to end my column.  I'm waiting patiently for any news you'd like to share so be sure to give me a call or email me in the coming week.  My phone number is 605-294-5874 and my email address is beverlypatterson555@yahoo.com.
