Schuring is "Star of Yesteryear"

Theresa  (Trea) Schuring of Andover was inducted to the Aberdeen Bowling USBC WBA Association's Local Hall of Fame for "Star of Yesteryear" in February.  She was recognized for her years of bowling which consist of 48 years in the Ladies League, 5 years of Mixed League, and 23 years of being Groton's Ladies League Secretary. Trea still bowls with the Groton Ladies League.

Rip 'N Ravel CFEL

Rip N Ravel CFEL met April 1, at the home of Carol Osterman. The pledges were recited in unison and eleven members answered roll call. A thank you note was read from Cameron Eickers. The spring council meeting and recognition tea will be held at the court house meeting room on April 10 at 3:15. The May lesson will be Gwen at 2:30. "Reflections" were read announcing the state convention in Huron September 13-14 the Area 111 meeting will be in Onida, April 15th at a cost of $10.00 The Red Cross Health Fair will be at the Civic Arena April 27.Following the meeting, Maralyn Hoops gave the lesson on the Cracker Barrel meeting she gave a True-False quiz on the Affordable Care Act 10 (Obama Care). Ginny Abeln and Mary Jo Ball gave a lesson on "Retirement Living", giving information on Prime Rose Mother Joseph Manor, Rosewood Court and Golden Living Center. The next meeting will be with Bev Sombke on May 6.
