Three teams advance to Global Finals

• Six of the seven Groton teams placed at the State Destination ImagiNation tournament held Saturday in Pierre. And of those six teams, three took first place to advance to the Global Finals to be held in Knoxville, Tenn., May 22-25. Teams advancing to the Global Finals are:
• Out of the Boxers: Lily Cutler, Nathan Fjelstad, Keri Pappas, Halie Yarborough, Trey Wight and Erin Smith. Coached by Clint Fjelstad.
• What A Catch: Allen Baker, Andee Geist, Jacob Donley and Hailey Donovan. Coached by Joann Donley.
• B.A.G.S. Ladies with Heart: Tiara DeHoet, Julianna Kosel, KaSandra Pappas, Madeline Schuelke, Samantha Pappas and Katlyn Kyar. Coached by Julie Milbrandt and Gail Kyar.
