Campsites available for Fort Sisseton festival

• LAKE CITY, S.D. (AP) -- State Game, Fish and Parks officials say plenty of campsites are still available for the annual Fort Sisseton Historic Festival.
• Camping is open for stays June 5-9.
• Fort Sisseton manager Katie Ceroll says this is the first year camping reservations have been taken during the festival. She says reservations help reduce the time campers have to wait at the state park's gate.
• Ceroll says the park had trouble accepting reservations in the past two weeks, but the reservation system is working now.
• The annual festival features entertainment, culture and history relating to the fort built nearly 150 years ago.

Sioux tribes gather on Rosebud Indian Reservation

• MISSION, S.D. (AP) -- The second of a two-day meeting between several Sioux tribes gets under way Friday on the Rosebud Indian Reservation.
• The Rosebud Sioux Tribe is hosting officials from several other Sioux tribes as part of an effort to work together as one nation on issues they deem important.
• Some of the issues being discussed during the meeting include education, health care, land, water and child care.
• The Oglala Sioux Tribe hosted the first meeting of the tribes back in March.

SD governor, trade delegation headed to China

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Gov. Dennis Daugaard and a group of South Dakota business and agriculture leaders are heading out on a trade mission to China.
• Daugaard says South Dakota companies have immense growth potential in the Chinese market, and he's hoping to continue developing relationships formed during last year's trade mission.
• Representatives from 15 business and agricultural groups will join Daugaard on the trip that begins Friday and runs through April 12. It's made possible by a State Trade and Export Promotion grant awarded to South Dakota by the Small Business Administration.
• The delegation will travel to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong for meetings to
