• Read, read, read!  Each night the Kindergarten students read short stories to the families.  Thank you parents, keep up the good work!!  There is a strong correlation between the amount of time practicing reading and a child's success.  We thank you and your child thanks you!!
• Happy Spring!  We are looking forward to "spring-like" weather!  We are anxious for Spring jackets and no more snowpants or boots!  We hope the snow will soon disappear!

• 2nd Grade - Jane Kroll and Anne Zoellner
The second graders have been busy bees in their classroom.  We have been fortunate to get some visitors this last month.  We had some FFA students visit.  They taught our students all about the importance of farm safety.  The students thoroughly enjoyed their presentation.
• In a couple of weeks the students will be taking the SAT 10 test to help prepare them for the Dakota Step test next year.  This will be a new and exciting experience for them.
•  In Reading class, they have been reading stories that revolve around the theme:  Growing and Changing.  The students have discovered that animals and plants change over time.  We have gone on an adventure with a seed that eventually turned into a stunning flower.  We also traveled back millions of years ago to discover a "Super Crocodile," which was the size of a school bus.  The last story of this unit is about an Eskimo family and their relationship with wolves.
