Mild conditions are expected across the region this afternoon. Tonight, a weak low pressure system may result in a quick shot of light rain, and possibly a clap of thunder across parts of central and eastern South Dakota and west central Minnesota. As surface temperatures cool overnight, there may be brief periods of freezing rain across far northeastern South Dakota and west central Minnesota. Very little if any accumulation is expected.
