Rapid City hotel drowning likely accidental

• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- The mother of an 8-year-old girl who drowned at a Rapid City hotel says the family was on a vacation that turned tragic.
• Authorities on Monday identified the victim of the Saturday morning drowning as Jasann Dubray, of Parmalee. They say in a statement that the preliminary investigation indicates the death was accidental but an autopsy is planned Tuesday.
