• The March meeting of the Lazy Farmers was held on March 17th 2013 at the Groton community center. There was no February meeting due to weather conditions. The meeting was with public presentations.
• The meeting was called to order by president Wyatt Sombke. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Hannah Webb and the 4-H pledge was led by Sarah Sippel. Nineteen members answered roll call "Are you a beginner (8-10), junior(11-13),senior(14-)?". No new members or guests were welcomed. The January Secretaries minutes were read by Alex Stange and a motion was made by Kari Hanson, 2nd by Tanae Lipp. The Treasurer's report was read and a motion was made by Maryn Howard and 2nd by Tessa Erdmann to approve.
• Old business included community service projects by Cassandra Townsend and Tara Tellkamp.
