Governor Daugaard Signs More Bills

• PIERRE, S.D. - Gov. Dennis Daugaard signed the following legislative bills.
HB1152 - An Act to revise certain provisions relating to the administrative office and to the appointment and direction of the executive director of the South Dakota Wheat Utilization, Research and Market Development Commission.
HB1163 - An Act to revise certain provisions related to the filing of the certificate of limited partnerships.
HB1167 - An Act to restructure the policy advisory committee for animal damage control.
HB1208 - An Act to prohibit the release of medical waste and to provide a penalty therefor.
HB1246 - An Act to authorize certain pesticide applicators to apply pesticide on their own property.
SB6 - An Act to determine whether factors affecting productivity should be applied if the actual use of agricultural land does not correspond to the soil classification standards.
SB74 - An Act to require the forfeiture of preference points for certain hunting licenses upon conviction of unlawfully killing, destroying, taking, or possessing trophy animals.
SB96 - An Act to exempt certain school districts from the requirement to reorganize due to low enrollment.
SB119 - An Act to ensure freedom of media coverage of high school activities.
SB130 - An Act to revise certain provisions concerning absentee voting.
SB133 - An Act to establish a pharmacy audit integrity program.
SB139 - An Act to regulate certain market activity in a health exchange.
SB145 - An Act to revise certain provisions concerning the content of annual

property tax bill.
SB156 - An Act to authorize township boards to increase the front foot assessment for road maintenance, repairs, and improvements and to revise certain provisions concerning road districts established by townships.
SB168 - An Act to require that newborns be screened for congenital heart defects.
