warmed up. The Lions were unable to pad its lead and lost some ground when the three-pointers started to fall for the Vikings. Langford had some nice offensive moves as Bo Fries threw the ball to Zach Punt under the basket for an easy two points. Fries later would hit a three-pointer.
• The Vikings ended the first quarter with a pair of three-pointers and two free throws as Langford held a 25-18 lead at halftime.
• In the second quarter, Langford made three of 11 field goals while James Valley Christian made four of 12. From the line, the Lions were one of two while the Vikings were four of four. Langford had two turnovers with one of them being converted into two points for James Valley Christian. The Vikings had one turnover.
