James Valley Christian edges Langford for fifth

• Everything went right for Langford in the first quarter. Then James Valley Christian decided to show up and a battle ensued for the rest of the game with the Vikings pulling out a 49-45 win in the consolation championship game.
• James Valley controlled the tip, but that was all they could control in the first quarter. While the Vikings couldn't buy a basket, Langford couldn't miss. Zach Punt opened the game with a three-pointer and the Lions were off to a roaring start. Langford made eight of nine field goals including two three-pointers in the first quarter while James Valley made two of 12. No free throws were attempted and Langford had three turnovers while James Valley Christian had one turnover that was converted into two points for Langford. The Lions held an 18-4 lead after the first quarter.
