Langford stops Potter County to advance in State B

• Momentum swung back and forth like a pendulum as Langford Area defeated Potter County, 71-56. Langford Area will advance to the fifth place game Saturday at the Barnett Center, Aberdeen.
• The game featured five lead changes, five ties and leads of six by the Battlers and 17 by the Lions.
• The Chargers controlled the tip and opened up with the first basket of the game. Langford Area had some nice plays early in the game with Zach Punt scoring on a fast break and Michael Erickson scoring on an assist by Drew Planteen. Erickson and Donte Blanchard each hit a three-pointer and Chase Larson was fouled at the buzzer and made two free throws. With the Langford offense on the move, after the game was tied twice and three lead changes, the Lions took a 21-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.
