Aberdeen Roncalli beats Pine Ridge at state A

• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- Aberdeen Roncalli pulled away after halftime to beat Pine Ridge 52-32 Friday in a consolation game at the South Dakota boys Class A basketball tournament.
• The Cavaliers (17-5) outscored the Thorpes 34-14 in the second half to move into the fifth-place game. They shot 44 percent from the field and made 17 of 20 free throws.
• Dominic King made seven of 13 shots from the field en route to 17 points. He also had nine rebounds. Kory Schwan added 10 points.
• Pine Ridge (14-10) got a team-high 12 points and six rebounds from Jeff Lebeau.

Brandon Valley knocks off SF Roosevelt at state AA

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Nic Peterson's 15 points led Brandon Valley to a 57-51 win over top-ranked Sioux Falls Roosevelt Friday in the semifinals of the South Dakota boys Class AA basketball tournament.
• Peterson had three 3-pointers and was 5 for 13 from the field for the Lynx (18-6), who are looking for their first title since 1998.
• Jacob Adams had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Lynx and teammate Chase Marso had 10 points. He was 6 for 6 from the line.
• Roosevelt's Jeremiah Clark had 13 points and Nate Cole and Tyler Howard had 10 points apiece.

Pierre Riggs edges Lincoln in Class AA semifinals

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Zach Hanson scored the final five points of the game, lifting Pierre T.F. Riggs to a 47-45 semifinal victory over Sioux Falls Lincoln on Friday at the South Dakota boys Class AA basketball tournament.
• Hanson converted a three-point play with 22 seconds left to tie the game at 45-45, and hit a pair of free throws with 3.8 seconds to play to send Riggs (19-5) into the title game. Hanson scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. Lane Severyn added 18 points for the Governors.
• Adam Jaros, who led Lincoln (13-12) with 16 points, gave the Patriots a 45-42 lead with 48 seconds left when he hit his fourth 3-pointer of the game. Nermin
