The Groton Area High School debate team concluded its season at the State Debate Tournament March 1st and 2nd in Yankton. Tyler Holm, Toby Carda, Katie Miller and Dakota Gonzales competed at the state meet in Public Forum debate. Joellen Gonsoir competed at state in Lincoln Douglas debate and Original Oratory. Gonsoir placed 5th overall in the state in Lincoln Douglas Debate and 7th overall in the state in Original Oratory.
