• Even though winter hasn't been as intense as they sometimes are, I begin to expect Spring to start poking it's head through the curtains any time now.  I am getting so anxious to break out a lighter jacket and see some bare ground and start to watch as things magically come to life once again.  I can appreciate the restful look of the leaf less trees in the winter and I do enjoy the snow when it sparkles and those mornings when everything appears to be frosted with glitter but then comes the time for all of those things to come to an end.  Let's hope that particular end is somewhat near!  This past weekend was definitely not that time. 
• Lorrie and Carla Sanderson and Len and Liz Sanderson were able to get their recently purchased lodge officially broken in over the weekend.  A group of twenty adults and twenty five kids stayed at the Hidden Hill Lodge on Friday evening, March 8th.  Lodgers were from Brookings, Madison and Milbank.  The kids were

participating in the AAU Wrestling Tournament held in Britton on Saturday.  Later in the day on Saturday a group of eleven snowmobilers from Claremont made a trip that way for a stay at the lodge as well.  They enjoyed a fabulous steak and shrimp supper that evening followed by some games of pool and relaxed conversation.  In the morning they had a nice breakfast before heading back into the blustery weather that continued during their ride back to Claremont. 
• Kenny and Debbie Murray's daughter DeAnn, grandson Dallas Hughes, granddaughter Christian Waltenberger and great grandson Danik Baker arrived on Thursday evening, March 7th from Missouri for a visit.  On Friday evening Danil and Joyce Himange of Frederick stopped in as well.  The family celebrated an early Easter celebration on Sunday March 10th.  Additional guests
