• 4 die in 1-car crash on I-90 near Sioux Falls
• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A family of four was killed Saturday in a one-vehicle crash near Sioux Falls when the car they were traveling in veered off the road and struck a guardrail.
• The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the family was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 just west of Sioux Falls at about 5:15 p.m. when the car left the roadway, entered the median and struck a guardrail and embankment before coming to rest.
• Fifty-two-year-old James Arthur Vollmer and his two kids, 16-year-old Alyssa Vollmer and 13-year-old Caleb Vollmer, died at the scene. Forty-eight-year-old Julie Louise Vollmer was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital but died from injuries.
• The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.

•  PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- On tap this week in the South Dakota Legislature: projections of state revenue that will be used to determine how much can be spent in the state budget and bills aimed at reducing traffic crashes by teen drivers.
• Here are five things to know heading into the session's eighth week:

• BUDGET
• The Legislature's Joint Appropriations Committee, which includes both House and Senate members, is preparing to put together the state budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
• Economists from the governor's budget office and the Legislature's staff are expected this week to present estimates of how much revenue the state will collect in the remainder of this year and the next budget year.
• The panel will use those estimates to determine how much money can be spent in the next budget. The Appropriations Committee will finish work on the budget so
