Locke takes first, Albrecht seventh and Duncan eighth

Dalton Locke became Groton's next state wrestling champion as he defeated his Harding County opponent in the championship match of the State B Wrestling Tournament. Meanwhile Jeric Albrecht pinned is opponent in 45 seconds to take seventh place and Duncan was decisioned by Muth of Britton-Hecla in the seventh place match.
Groton placed 13th in the state tournament with 47 points.

Kindergarten Screening
Feb. 25 - March 1

Parents of children ages 3-6 not yet attending school are asked to contact Heidi Krueger at the Groton Area Elementary School during school hours at 397-2317 to set up a screening time.

Kindergarten Screening will take place at the Groton Area High School Gymnasium.  Please park and use the east entrance to the gym.
