• Terry Herron presented a quote for materials for repairing the east and north side of the city shop. It will cost about $10,000 with labor to get it done. Councilman Brett Anderson asked if it was in the budget and the reply was that they had not gotten the quotes yet when the budget was being put together. The project would have to come out of contingency. Anderson said the contingency should be used for emergency and he felt this was not an emergency. He asked if this could wait until the next budget cycle and the answer was yes, but it would cost more in materials. The council approved the project on a 5-1 vote with Anderson voting no.
• The council decided to cut back on the Ecolab contract for the rubble site. The cost is expected to increase by 5 percent this year. It is currently costing $91.88 per month. The council decided to use the service for six months, from April to October.
• The pool and baseball prices for the upcoming year will remain unchanged.
• A request from John Lendry to forgive his late fee charges of $50 was denied. The :"I ask that this be dismissed," he said, after stating that even after the police had picked up his dog, they never said that it has to be licensed. City Finance Officer Anita Lowary said that a notice is printed on the utility bill, put in the newspapers and on cable television about licensing dogs. Lendy said that he never seen any of that. After the discussion, Lendry then pointed out that the city ordinances should be in effect for everyone. He presented pictures of vehicles around town that are unlicensed. The council thanked him for bringing that to their attention and they will pursue them.
• The cemetery is closed off until the snow recedes. Olson said that the head
