NOTICE is hereby given that a special election of the City of Groton, Brown County, South Dakota, will be held in said City on the 26th day of February, 2013; that the following places are designated as polling places for the purposes of holding said election:

Groton City #19 Groton Community Center, 109 N 3^rd St, Groton, SD 57445
and that the polls will be kept open from 7:00 in the forenoon until 7:00 in the evening for the purpose of voting on the following question:

RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY

A RESOLUTION DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO INSTALL CURB AND GUTTER ADJOINING CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF GROTON.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body, in and for the City of Groton, South Dakota:
Section 1. It is necessary to place curb and gutter improvements for approximately twenty (20) blocks located a) on both sides of North Fifth Street between East Eighth Avenue and East Ninth Avenue; b) on both sides of North Fifth Street between East Railroad Avenue and East Sixth Avenue; c) on both sides of East Fifth Avenue between North Fourth Street and North Sixth Street;  d) on the east side of North Sixth Street between Walter's Subdivision Lot 2 and Lot 5 in the proper manner by plans and specifications by the Public Works Supervisor and City Engineer, in and for the City of Groton, South Dakota, on city streets adjoining the property described herein:
