SDSU's China Night to focus on food, culture

• BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -- Chinese food, fashion, music and dance will be on display at South Dakota State University's annual China Night on Sunday.
• The Chinese Student and Scholar Association hosts the annual event, which will be held in the Volstorff Ballroom of the University Student Union on campus from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• The event is put on to mark the Chinese New Year.
• Mapo Doufu, Gong Bao Chicken and Chinese rice and noodles are just a few of the traditional dishes that will be served at the event. A fashion show, culture presentation and Chinese song and dance routines will follow the buffet.
• Tickets are $8 for SDSU students, $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free.
