Precipitation, either in the form of rain or wet snow, will be moving into southwest South Dakota by this afternoon. Precipitation moves into central South Dakota this evening while changing over to all snow. Snow then expands northeast through much of the rest of the state late Saturday night through early Sunday morning. Blizzard conditions begin developing by early Sunday morning across central South Dakota and gradually expand east across the rest of the state through early Sunday evening. Blizzard conditions will then persist into early Monday before wind and snow intensity drops off during the day on Monday.
