retrieve something in the back seat so I carefully approached it hoping the tantrum wouldn't repeat itself.  Step one would be to unlock the doors. They actually unlocked when I pushed the button and because I love to temp fate I put the key in the ignition and poof, it started.  Now, whatever happened earlier is still beyond my point of understanding but near as I can tell, the darn car wasn't used to being that warmed up and it didn't know how to handle it.  I haven't had anything like that happen since but my honey did tell me that my 1 minute trips to work in this cold weather isn't doing my battery any favors and I think he's probably right.
• Dale and Susan Kurth traveled to Minneapolis last Wednesday January 30th to welcome their new granddaughter into the family.  Their son Troy and his wife Jessica's little bundle arrived on the 30th.  Little Annabel Pearl weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.  This is Troy and Jessica's first baby. While there Dale and Susan also dined with Susan's brother-in-law and his wife at the Olive Garden on Friday evening and had a chance to meet up with Tom Hafner and his wife for breakfast on Saturday before returning home on Sunday.  Dale and Tom became friends while in the service together years back.
• There's still bingo going on at the legion hall in Claremont on Sundays through the end of February.  It starts at 2:00 and goes until 4:00.  The auxiliary ladies would love to see you there!
• I hope your week goes great.  I'm going to do some fun and exciting things and tell you all about it next week.  I hope you'll give me a call or email me so I can tell everyone about your exciting week as well.  As for now it's time for me go.  I hope life presents lots of happy surprises for you in the days ahead.  I've heard the temps could climb into the forty's and I don't think anyone will be unhappy about that!  Email me at beverlypatterson555@yahoo.com or give me a call or text at 701-680-7255.
