The Life of ImoJeanne Oliver

• Services for ImoJeanne Oliver, 93, of Groton will be at 11 a.m., Monday,              February 4, 2013, at the Groton United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Matt Richards will officiate.  Private burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen.
• Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.
• ImoJeanne died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.
• ImoJeanne Healy was born October 26, 1919, to Clifford and Anna (Malm) Healy near Langford, SD.  She attended rural school in that area and graduated from Langford High

School in 1937.
• She was united in marriage to Robert A. Oliver in 1940.  They made their home and farmed in the Groton area until 1967 when they moved to Groton.  ImoJeanne and Bob enjoyed many years wintering in Arizona.  Bob passed away in 1983.  ImoJeanne continued to live in Groton, and, in recent years resided at Bethesda Home in Aberdeen.
• She was a member of the Groton United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Riverside Readers and a 42-year member of the Groton American Legion Auxiliary.
• She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Richard Oliver, her parents, a sister, and a brother, who gave his life in WWII.
• Survivors include one son, Robert John Oliver and his wife Maggie of Groton, one daughter, Bette Jean Cochran and her husband John of Boca Grande, FL, her daughter-in-law, Sandra Oliver of Sioux Falls, SD and brother-in-law, Robert Johnson of Langford, SD.
• Spending time with family were treasured memories.  Grandchildren are:  Rebecca Hong (Berkman), Lynn Lutter-Tabbert (Mike), Cindy Teer (Carl), Todd Oliver (Sharon), Chad Oliver (Stacy), John Cochran III (Kimberly), Susan Cochran Pearson (David), and Michael Cochran.  Blessings are nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
• Casket bearers will be all of ImoJeanne's grandchildren.
• Memorials, if you wish, are preferred to the Groton United Methodist Church, 906 North 1st Street or Groton American Legion Auxiliary, PO Box 125, Groton, SD 57445.
