Dangerously Cold Wind Chills Expected Thursday Night and Friday Morning in North Central U.S.

• Well below normal readings are expected across the northern Great Plains and Upper Mississippi River Valley Thursday night into Friday morning, where lows will range from 10 to 20 degrees below zero. Although winds will not be particularly strong, wind chills as low as 40 degrees below zero are expected across portions of North Dakota. People must take precautions to reduce exposure
